SHINee ONEW CAUGHT SMOKING ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE

Onew, who was recently swept up in a scandal with Jungah, is causing another stir because of photos that surfaced showing him smoking an electronic cigarette.

One of the photos released by a media outlet about the pair’s dating scandal showed Onew puffing on an electronic cigarette. Because of Onew’s usual proper and young innocent image, the photo has been a shock to many netizens.

The photos couldn’t have come at a worse time, as he just last week he was under scrutiny because of his middle finger incident. However, some netizens have spoken up in his defense to say that smoking electronic cigarettes is not a big deal.

SMEnt RESPOND TO SHINee ONEW MIDDLE FINGER CRITISM

With the heated attention of netizens on SHINee‘s Onew after seeing the idol giving the middle finger during a radio broadcast, SM Entertainment has responded to the criticisms about onew middle finger controversy.

As mentioned before, on the March 18th broadcast of ‘Younha’s Starry Night‘, the SHINee members featured as guests, and during the introduction segment, Onew’s hand was spotted on the screen during the filming of the radio program. This led many to express their disappointment and question why the idol had given the middle finger when cameras were rolling.

Although it turns out Onew and his members were just playing around before they officially started their talk segments on the radio program when the hand gesture came about, SM Entertainment didn’t make any excuses and simply commented, “Whatever the reason is, it was the wrong thing to do. Onew is self-reflecting. He will be more careful in the future.”

PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT DENIES ONEW AND JUNGAH DATING RUMOUR

After paparazzi captured shots of SHINee‘s Onew and After School‘s Jung Ah sitting inside a car together and exiting a restaurant, rumors have flared that the two idols were in a relationship with each other.

However, in a press release distributed just a few minutes ago, Jung Ah’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, denied all charges of a relationship between the two idols.

“The two of them are merely close friends, not dating,” they said, denying the reports. “As fellow entertainment workers, Jung Ah and Onew have a close relationship where they advise each other. Today, their schedules matched so they were only enjoying a light meal together, and weren’t dating like media agencies have reported.”

Earlier, Korean media agency Kuki News ran an exclusive report along with pictures, quoting a close friend with the two idols that “they have been dating for one year”.

YESUNG ARMY ENLISTMENT

Yesung announced that he will be enlisting in the army this year.

During the March 24 ‘Super Show 5‘ concert, Yesung announced the news to his fans stating, “I was a trainee for 5 years, and I was with fans as a Super Junior member for 8 years. I am thankful for all the love. I’d forgotten how precious it was to sing on stage. I realized only now how much it means. While I’m not here, please take care of the Super Junior members. Please don’t forget about me.”

SM Entertainment added, “Yesung will be enlisting this year. There is no decision yet for the exact date and location. He expressed how thankful he was because of the love he received from Korean fans.” They added, “He hasn’t received his notice of enlistment yet. During his physical test, he was ruled as the 4th replacement status, so he’ll be working as a public worker. He’s planning on entering the training facilities when he receives his official notice.”

As known that his group mate eunhyuk also said in his twitter that SS5 Seoul is Yesung last stage before he enlisted

B.A.P ONE SHOT TOPPED TAIWANESE CHART AGAINST OTHER BIG NAME OF HALLYU STAR

B.A.P′s One Shot took over the no. 1 spot on two of the largest music charts in Taiwan as soon as it was released.

According to the weekly charts of g-music and Five Music released on March 22, B.A.P′s second mini album One Shot topped their Korean and Japanese album charts with its release.

G-music and Five Music are the largest album retailer administrators in Taiwan, and their Korean-Japanese album charts are deemed highly reliable as they bring together online and offline sales statistics.

This isn′t the first time B.A.P has topped a chart on g-music, as its first mini album No Mercy released in July 2012 stayed on the top of its K-Pop Weekly Album Chart for five weeks in a row.The feat is even more meaningful in that it was achieved amidst competition from such big names as Super Junior, Girls′ Generation (SNSD), SHINee, CN Blue, Teen Top, AKB48 and KAT-TUN.

A rep from Sony Taiwan, in charge of distribution, commented, “Local officials are in awe at the rate B.A.P has been growing. We believe it was their different style of K-Pop that found a break.“B.A.P will continue to promote One Shot in Korea.
